will a 78 chevy 350 bolt up and work with a 99 tahoe 4l60e trans?

because i know they used the 350 trans back then.i just want to make sure the bell housings will fit up and it will bolt up and work...
its not going to be carb'd its going to be efi...

It will but the 4l60e trans is electronic. If you are wanting a vehicle with a carb, the 4l60e wont work. But the 4l60e is basically an electronic 700r4. If you want to carb the engine, use a 700r4.
