Chevrolet Equinox hybrid?

I'm looking at the Chevrolet Equinox and have been hoping that they would create a hybrid. On some websites it says that Chevrolet was going to release one in 2006, but that didn't happen. Does anyone know when the hybrid will come out, how much it will cost, and the possible gas mileage it would get?
