Noticed something loose on Chevy Aveo.?

I am not sure what this is or how much it will cost and was hoping you had some answers.
My Aveo started making a metal dragging sound and I checked under the car to see what the problem was. Nothing was dragging but I did notice a metal ring a bit smaller than the size of a kitchen plate that seemed to have come loose from sonthing. It was on some pipe locating near the front passenger side under the car. Any idea what this is?

It is probably more of a metal vibration sound from metal touching metal. I don't know if it is related or not but when have my foot on the gas pedal it feels loose when I go over a bump.

Sounds like either the catalytic converter has come loose or the flywheel cover has come off. Better get that checked asap. It could cause some damage to the car.

Im sorry, the description of the problem is vague. if it was a dragiing sound, you would see something in contact with the asphalt when parked, something loose wouldnt make a dragging sound. it would make a rattle(vibration) while driving. need more info, car performance, left turning, right turning, all the time you hear it????? maybe bearing somewhere i dont know, need more info
