First car- 04 BMW 3 series or 06/07 Chevy Equinox?

I really like the bmw, but the chevy would be newer and better in the wonderful winter weather..

BMW are very expensive to repair .... and they do go wrong

Well if it snows. Chevy is the way to go. Plus its cheaper on parts and run great. BMW can get pretty expensive to maintain and is higher on insurance.
