Where is the Diagnostic Port on an '06 Chevy Aveo?

I was going to take my car to get a Diagnostic Check at Advance Auto, but they couldn't find the diagnostic port.. I think that's what it's called... My check engine light came on and I just wanted to get everything checked. I would take it to the dealer, but they will cahrge me where Advance Auto will do it for free...

it should be under your steering wheel dash area if not then it might be behind your ash tray or under the glove box dash area
