I want to know from a mechanic's standpoint how easy or hard they are to work in all areas, if they are reliable, etc. I have mastered my stock 1973 Volkswagen Beetle, but my friend is getting a 2006-2008 Aveo and he wants me to work on it. I worked on his 1976 Volkswagen from the day he got it, but it finally died with 189000 miles and a well rusted body. I have never touched an Aveo in my life. How are they?
