You can charge it in any outlet, it costs 2 cents per mile to drive it (gas cars cost an average of 8 cents a mile), it's electric range is 50 miles.

The first 40 miles of driving are battery supported there after a small engine comes on and supplies electricity to continue driving. If you do short hops around town, you will not require the small engine to come on and you can recharge the car when you return home. This allows you to not use gasoline unless you exceed the battery dive range. All of these numbers are subjective being as that they have not developed a battery system that will support the vehicle as yet. This is where the hold up is in its development.My sources say they are close but not there yet. Great potential when they get the bugs out.
