2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS V6 oil???

Just got a New 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS V6 4x4, has 22k miles on it, what oil and weight should i use for best performance and better gas mileage?

What is specified in your owners manual... actually because you have a modern car it might even be indicated on the oil cap.

I also have a 07 trailblazer and was told to use synthitic blend oil as will hold up longer and you won't have to change oil as soon.
I have 8,000 miles and haven;'t changed oil yet and if I had used regular oil I would have been going on my third change already.
I have never used the synthetic before but will try it now as long as I own this suv. the dealer told me to just use the synthetic blend as it is just as good as the synthetic itself.
also you have a sensor that will light up when you need the oil changed.
