My Chevy Equinox Car engine is made in Communist China. UAW!! Why did you allow that?

Yes! It is a Chevy but as I said above the engine was made in China and....No surprise here....The transmission is made in Japan. This vehicle should have been made in the USA. There is a willing worker in the USA who would have liked to have his finger prints on my engine and transmission. OK UAW...WHY?

That is kinda like Wal-mart, america's store. I have been noticing 60% of there stuff is made in China, even from trusted companies. But notice that You do not hear Buy American much anymore either. With the economy struggleing, we as a country have sold ourselves out sad to say.

Since you seem to lack any education, it is simple, UAW cost more than 10 times the cost of China. China is a developing country and labor laws are some what in the gray. I have ordered a 1.7 million Pound drilling derrick, that will be made in China by a company that has a head quarters here in the US. Why China, I can get it for about half the price with all the quality control checks, and better steel. China is coming up in the world in its ability to produce, 7 years ago I would have never allowed such a thing. But now that we have so many people in there working and controlling and teaching then how to build better. Why not? Wal-Mart does it and EVERY ONE buys at Wall mart. Americans will not pay for the American labor, it is simple would you pay 130 dollars for a pay of Levis? or the 30 dollars that it takes to get them out of Mexico? the only reason they are not made in China is the shipping cost would bring them up about another 3 dollars per pair.

Read up on how the general American public buys and you will learn that there is no point in trying to build anything here anymore. There is not a market place for it. Americans will not support American manufacturing jobs. Since we can get a as good product for less than half the price, why buy the more expensive one.

GM - is a world company, if they can save money on single source product lines more power to them. Own a company or run one that is a world trader and you will understand how the world really works. So get your nose out of garbage magazines and learn something that affects your life. And if you think GM products are a US company think again. they sell more out side the US than in it. Why do you think they are the largest motor company? Educate your self outside your little town.
