I have driven vehicles with bumper-pull type hitches before, and have recently bought a 97 Tahoe [5.8L V8.] I have an underbumper hitch [seems bolted/welded to frame,] and I believe it came standard with it. I need to pull a horse trailer. I was told that I need an electric brake controller.
Is there a specific type of controller that I need? Also, how do I verify what class hitch I have? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
