My wife has a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox with approx. 37K. About a week or two ago I drove the vehicle and noticed something odd. On occasion, normally under light to moderate braking the pedal slowly depresses all the way to the floor. The vehicle has not failed to stop as of today. I took it back to the service department on 01/14/2008 and of course the brakes worked fine according to them. Drove the car to work today and while traveling from lunch, the pedal went to the floor on 3 separate occasions. Pedal feels like it’s building pressure as it should up to ¼ or ½ pedal and then slowly continues to depress. As stated above, this only happens on occasion.
